Nina and Papa blessed Mark and I with an early Valentine's date and a gift card to a super expensive restaurant. We decided to go all out and try something we had never eaten: Octopus!! It was a little weird, but the way it was served made it fairly good. Mark actually liked the tentacles because they were crispy and contained more of the grilled flavor. Not something we would ever order again but a fun experience! we brought home a bit of it to share with the girls, but only Susanna was brave enough to try. She didn't really like it much, though.
Susanna really conks out when she is sleeping. Frosty loves to snuggle with her, and we often fod them like this. I took this picture one morning when Frosty was purring as loud as a tiger and snuggled up right in her face but Susanna never even stirred! I guess she has so many stuffed animals that she is used to sleeping with fur in her face!

Alyssa is obsessed with the piano. It actually makes it hard for the girls to practice because she begs/ screams to be picked up and allowed to play every time they try to practice. I think Karis actually enjoys the interruptions though.
